When you connect the device, the following should occur:

￿The USB modem is powered as soon as you connect it to the computer’s USB port.

￿The LED indicator on the device lights up, blinks and turns solid green.

￿The Sprint PCS Connection Manager Software starts (unless the auto-launch feature has been disabled).

Note: The Sprint Mobile Broadband USB Modem also contains an antenna that can be used for better coverage; this is an integral part of the device. To use this feature, flip open the device's antenna by gently gripping the top right side of the external cover with your forefinger.

Using the External USB Cable

To use the USB cable:

1.Plug the single end of the Y-shaped cable into the Sprint Mobile Broadband USB Modem.

2.Plug the two connected ends of the Y-shaped cable into two separate USB ports on your PC.

3.The device is powered as soon as the USB cable is connected to the appropriate USB ports. (The LED indicator on the device will turn green.)

4.Launch Sprint PCS Connection Manager and click Connect.
