during the playback of DVD.

1In stop mode, press [SET-UP] to display “SETUP” menu.

OFF : When outputting the original sound.

Note:

• When playing back a 96 kHz disc with the copyright protec-

tion or when virtual surround is set to 1 or 2, the sound will

be down sampled at 48 kHz and output as digital audio

even if “DOWN SAMPLING” is “OFF”.

• “DOWN SAMPLING” is available only when the unit is con-

nected to a stereo using the COAXIAL (audio out) jack.

[DOLBY DIGITAL] (Default: BITSTREAM)

Select “BITSTREAM“ when this unit is connected to a

Dolby Digital decoder. Available on DVD only.
