You can divide one title into two new titles.

4Use [SKIP H], [SKIP G], [REV E], [FWD D], [PAUSE F], [VARIABLE SKIP ],

[VARIABLE REPLAY ] and [PLAY B] to decide the point at which you will divide the title.

Disc Management

		ENTER			5
DISPLAY				RETURN		Use [K / L] to select “Title Dividing”,
		VARIABLE				then press [ENTER].

		PLAY			6	Use [K / L] to select “Yes”, then press

If you edit the HDD, press [HDD] first.
			The title will be divided into two new titles.
If you edit a disc, press [DVD] first.
			Both title names are identical.
1	In stop mode, press [TOP MENU].
			Press [RETURN		] or [STOP C] to
	• For VR mode DVD-RW, press [MENU/LIST] to
	select “Playlist”.		exit.

This operation may take awhile to be completed.

Note

•You cannot divide a title of the disc when the number of recording titles reaches the maximum of 600 (HDD), 99 (-RW), and the number of recording chapters reaches the maximum of 999 (-RW).

•If there is not enough recordable space is left in HDD, you can not divide a title of the HDD original.
