 Blu-ray Video Setting, Progressive Mode

Note:

•To change the on-screen language, call up “Language” from the main menu and set the desired language. (Refer to “Language Selection” on page 22.)

•Language options are not available with some discs.

•If “Other” is selected in “Audio”, “Subtitle” or

“Disc Menu”, press 4-digit number to enter the code for the desired language. (Refer to “Language Code List” on page 52.)

•Only the languages supported by the disc can be selected.

•Language setting for Audio and Subtitle are not available with some discs.

-Press [SUBTITLE] to select subtitles available on the BD/DVD.

-Press [AUDIO] to select audio available on the BD/DVD.

•If the BD/DVD’s default settings for audio and subtitle are the same language, the subtitles may not show unless you turn them on.

Progressive Mode

(Default: Auto)

Sets the optimum progressive output for the images in a material stored.

Video

	Auto	Detects 24 frame film material (movies) and
	Auto	automatically select appropriate progressive
		mode.
	Video	Suited for playing back video material discs
	Video	(TV shows or animation).
		(TV shows or animation).

You can change the desired language when playing back the disc.

3 Follow steps 1-2on page 47, then use [Cursor K/ L] to select “ ”, then press [ENTER].

4 Use [Cursor K/ L] to select “ ”, then press [ENTER].

5 Use [Cursor K/ L] to select the desired item, then press [ENTER].

Still Mode		(Default: Auto)
Adjusts picture resolution and quality in “Still Mode”.

	Auto	Automatically selects the best resolution
	Auto	setting (“Frame” or “Field”).

	Field	Select “Field” when the pictures are distorted.
