Capture formats

You can use the Camera program to capture files in the following formats:

Still-image formats

JPEG

Motion-JPEG AVI (.avi)

10.2 Camera

Three of the ways you can enter Camera mode are:

nTap > Programs > Camera.

nOr, press the Camera button, the lowermost button on the left side of your device (as illustrated at right).

nTap the Camera icon in the Album program.

When you initially invoke Camera, the Photo capture mode will be active. The name of the current capture mode is dis- played near the top of the screen, under the Title Bar. One way to easily switch to other capture modes is to tap the related icon near the lower right of the screen. Icons representing each of the four capture modes are located near the lower right of the screen, with the active one enclosed in a box. The four modes are:

nPhoto: Captures standard still images.

nVideo: Captures video clips, with or without audio.

nMMS Video: Captures video clips that are suitable for sending via MMS.

nPicture Theme: Captures a still image and places it into the template (frame) you have selected.
