Getting Started
Connecting the Speakers

Speakers

There are 6 speakers equipped with the unit (2 front, 1 cen-
ter, 2 rear, 1 subwoofer). In order to enjoy good surround
effects all six speakers need to be connected to the receiver

Speaker cords

1 for each speaker, is needed
for connection. Press down
the tab to open the terminal
and insert the wire. Release
tab to lock wire in the termi-
nal.
To ease speaker connections,
the speaker cords and the ter-
minals are color-coded. (please
refer to the diagram)
Connect the speaker wire to
the back of L, R front speakers
and to the corresponding
color terminals on the rear of
the receiver. Do the same for
center speaker, rear speakers
and the subwoofer.

Speaker Polarity

When connecting the speakers, make sure the polarities
(“+” speaker wire to “+” on the receiver) of speaker wires
and terminals are matched. If the cords are reversed, the
sound will be distorted and lack bass (“out of phase”
effect).
Do not ground the output line, it will cause damage to the
speaker.
