EDo not attempt to move the appliance when filled with hot oil.

This appliance is not a fryer. The fondue dish must never be used for cooking chips, doughnuts, etc. Ensure that the food to be cooked is well drained.

When using frozen food, ensure that it is properly defrosted and dried. Do not slice directly on the dish. 14

FPlace the thermostat in the min. position. 15

At the end of use, the appliance is hot; handle it with care (if filled with hot oil, it should not be moved). 15

Unplug from the mains socket, then, depending on the model, unplug from the appliance. Leave it to cool down. 16 17

GIf food has burned, leave the fondue pot to soak a little while before cleaning. 21

After a cheese fondue, we recommend you to leave fondue pot to soak overnight before cleaning it. 21

The connector must be removed before the appliance is cleaned and the connector socket must be dry before the appliance is used again.

Do not immerse the appliance in water.

Never immerse the appliance and its cord in water or put it in the dishwasher. 2 22 23 The pan must be cleaned with a sponge, warm water and a little washing-up liquid. 22

Do not use metal scourers or scouring powders to avoid damaging the cooking surface (e.g.: non-stick coating, …). 20

The forks as well as the fork holders are dishwasher-safe. 23

HAfter washing, the fondue bowl must be well rinsed and dried before use. 2 22

Prevention of accidents at home

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by an adult responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Accessible surface temperatures can be high when the appliance is operating.

Never touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.

If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immediately with cold water and call a doctor if necessary.

Cooking fumes may be dangerous for animals which have a particularly sensitive respiratory system, such as birds. We advise bird owners to keep them away from the cooking area.

Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
