MAKING THE CONNECTIONS
CONNECTING POWER
CONNECTINGTO YOUR TV
VIDEOCONNECTION
Youcan power the system from a standard AC outlet by using the supplied power cord.
CAUTION:The suppliedAC power cord has a polarized plug that fits into the wall outlet only one
way.Ifthe plug does not fit properly, turn it over and try again. Do not force it.
The Singing Machine includes a patch cord to provide you the option of either connecting an
externalaudio/sound system and/or video device. The patch cord has three RCA plugs at each
end; the White and Red are for left and right audio connections, the Yellowis to connect the
video.
Itis recommended that a CDG disc is playing while connecting your TV or VCR. The display of
theSinging Machine logo or lyrics on your TV screen will insure you have connected your TV or
VCRproperly.
Pleasefollow the steps below to display CDG lyrics on the TV screen:
(1) Locatethe multicolored patch cords.
(2) Connectvideo cable (yellow) to the Video Out jack on the back of the Singing Machine.
(3) Connect the other end of the Video Cable (yellow) to the Video Input on your TV or
VCR.
