MAINTENANCE
DAILY MAINTENANCE SCHEDULEThe following services should be performed daily or every 8 hours of service, following the detailed
maintenance instructions in the operators manual.
_______ Pump Drive Shaft: If required with drive shaft/coupler check for end play and lubricate at zerks.
_______ Crankshaft adapter: If equipped with rubber grommets check condition, replace if missing or
damaged.
_______ Pivot points: Inject grease until it appears at ends.
_______ Hydraulic fittings: Check for leaks with paper or cardboard. Tighten fittings or replace hoses
immediately.
_______ Knives: Inspect for missing or damaged knives, change (only complete sets) as needed.
_______ Knife Bolts (SABER 1-3/4”): Check/Torque to 2,000 ft. lb.
_______ Bolts - Disk/Spindle (SABER 3/4” x 2”): Check/Torque to 331 ft. lb.
_______ Bolts - Disk (CHEETAH): Check/Torque (204 dry or 184 oiled ft. lb.)
Spindle Bolts (331 ft. lb.)
_______ Blade Bolts (1-1/8”): Check/Torque to 1070 dry or 800 oiled ft. lb. (CHEETAH)
_______ Belts: Check/Tighten/Replace belts as needed.
_______ Main Frame/Deck: Unless otherwise specified retorqued bolts according to torque specifications in
this section.
_______ Hydraulic Fluid Level: Add, if required, per fluid recommendations.
_______ Rear Flail Drive, Bearing Flange and Shaft Couplers: Grease as instructed in the detailed
maintenance section.
_______ Cutter Shaft and Ground Roller: Grease as instructed in the detailed maintenance section.
