OPERATION

8. PRE-OPERATION INSPECTION AND SERVICE

Before each use, a pre-operation inspection and service of the mower and tractor must be performed. This includes routine maintenance and scheduled lubrication, inspecting that all safety devices are equipped and functional, and performing needed repairs. Do not operate the mower and tractor if the pre-operation inspection reveals any condition affecting safe operation. Perform repairs and replacement of damaged and missing parts as soon as noticed. By performing a thorough pre-operation inspection and service, valuable down time and repair cost can be avoided.

DANGER!

Always disconnect the main PTO Driveline from the Tractor before performing service

on the Mower. Never work on the Mower with the Tractor PTO driveline connected

and running. Blades or Drivelines could turn without warning and cause immediate

entanglement, injury or death. (SRM-3)

DANGER! DO NOT allow any person under a folded wing unless wing is securely locked up or supported. DO NOT approach the Implement unless the Tractor is turned off and all motion has ceased. Never work under the frame work, or any lifted component unless the implement is securely supported or blocked up. A sudden or inadvertent fall by any of these components could cause serious injury or even death.

WARNING! Periodically inspect all moving parts for wear and replace when neces- sary with authorized service parts. Look for loose fasteners, worn or broken parts, and leaking or loose fittings. Make sure all pins have cotter pins and washers. Serious injury may occur from not maintaining this Implement in good working order.
