8.5 DISPLAY ERROR MESSAGES
‘HI’ The measured temperature is > 42,9 °C / 109,3 °F.
‘LO’ The measured temperature is < 32,0 °C / 89,6 °F ‘ErrE’ The ambient temperature is not within the operation ‘ErrU’ specifications.
Does not measure after pressing ‘Measure’. Follow the steps ‘ErrH’ mentioned in the user guide.
An error is detected during
‘ErrR’ Sensor error. Do not use the thermometer under extreme ‘ErrL’ environment.
‘ErrP’ Hardware problem. Return the unit to the service center. Battery low. Replace the battery.

9ADVANCED MODE
9.1TIME SETTINGS
•Power on the unit by pressing the START - button 
once. You will hear a short beep. Time mode is displayed.
•Press and hold the SET - button 7 . The 24hr/12hr system is blink-

• | Press the SET - button | 7 to switch between 24hr and 12hr system. |
• | Press the OK - button | 8 to confirm. The hour digits are blinking. |
• | Press the SET - button | 7 repeatedly to increase the digit. |
• | Press the OK - button | 8 to confirm. The minutes digits are blinking. |
•Repeat previous steps for setting the minutes, year, month and day.
•After setting the day, the unit will enter sleep mode setting.
9.2SLEEP MODE
When sleep mode is not activated, the display is continuously ON. The display will toggle between time and room temperature.
After setting the hour, sleep mode setting is displayed:
• Press the SET - button 7 to switch between ON or OFF.
• Press the OK - button 8 to confirm.
