Thedigital receiver can output two types of digital audio sig-
nalsvia the S/PDIF connector. One is an encoded signal, and
theother is a decoded signal. Ifyour digital audio system does
not have a Dolby Digital decoder,you have to set the Dolby
Digitaloption to PCM. Otherwise, set it to Bitstream.
3.3 Local time setting
Youshould set your local time for timer events. If you do not
setthe local time right, the programme time table provided by
theprogramme guide may be distrustful. Forthe programme
guide,refer to § 5.3.

Youcan set the clock manually
or use the time signal, Green-
wichMean Time (GMT), carried
as part of the digital television
broadcast.
To use Greenwich Mean Time,
takethe following steps:
1.
Setthe Mode option to Auto; then the Time Offset option
becomesenabled.
2.
Setthe Time Offsetoption to the time difference between
yourtime zone and GMT referring to Table 3.1.

Toget Greenwich mean time, set the GMT Collection
optionto one among the following:
Normal fromall transponders
CASTP from transponders of pay services
UserSelect from transponders specified by you
