The iguide.epc file can be edited, but its structure is not very obvious, so let’s take each block in turn:
Block 1: version identifier

This is the version identifier for the configuration file. As iGuide develops, more and different information needs to be stored in the configuration file, and so the version number goes up. iGuide is aware of these changes and will load earlier versions of configuration files happily should you upgrade.
