Viewing the digital signal meter
You can view the digital signal meter in the ANT/
CABLE digital TV input source only.
To view the digital signal meter:
1Press u_u andopen theSetup menu.
2Highlight Installation and press @.
3A new setof Installation menu iconswill appear.
Open the Terrestrialmenu, highlight Signal
Meter, and press @.
4Press AIF_II_ to select the antenna input and
digital channel whose signalyou want to check.
Note:
•The physical digital channel number listed in
the Signal Meter screen may not correspond to
a virtual TV channel number. Contact your
local broadcasters to obtain the RF channel
numbers for your local digital stations.
• The signal strength doesnot change between
virtual channels on the same physical channel.
To close the screen and return to the
Terrestrial menu:
Highlight Doneand press @.
To return to normal viewing:
Press E_T
Setting the time zone
The Time Zone setup will allow you to specify the
correct time zone foryour region. This feature will
allow the TV status information to show the correct
time zone information (m_ page 50).
To set the time zone:
1From the Setup menu, highlight Installation and
press @. A new set of Installation menu icons
will appear.
2Highlight Time Zoge, and press @.
3Press _ or _ to select the regiom highlight Doge,
and then press @.
After the time zone has been set, you will be asked to
set the current Daylight Saving Time status.
To set the Daylight Saving Time status:
1Press a or I_ to select Yesor No, highlight Done,
and then press EN@.
Viewing the systemstatus
To view the system status:
1Press M_u and open the Setup menu.
2Highlight Installatigg and press @.
3Anew setof Installation menuicons will appear.
Open the SystemStatusmenu, highlight System
Information,and press @.
4Press,Ior toscrollthroughthemenubarto
selectthe Factory Defaultsor Support
Informationand view the related information.
To close the screen and return to the
Installation menu:
Highlight Dogeand press @.
To return to normal viewing:
Press E_T
Reset Factory Defaults
To reset all settings and channels to their
factory default values:
1Press M_u and open the Setupmenu.
2Highlight Installatiog and press @. A new set of
Installation menu icons will appear.
3Open the SystemStatusmenu, highlight System
Information,and press @.
4Press _ or _" to scroll through the menu bar to
select FactoryDefaults.
5Highlight Yesand press @.
6(IfPIN code has been set, enter your PIN code.
Press _ or II_to select Doge and press @.) A
warning message will appear, select Yes and press
@, the TV will turn off automatically after afew
seconds. After the TV turns off unplug the TV
power cord and then plug it in again to complete
thereset process.
To cancel the reset:
Select Noand press @ in step 5above.
