Setting user passwords
If you enter the password correctly, the computer returns to
where it was when you enabled the instant password.
Setting a user password
To register a password for the instant and power-on password
functions:
1Click Start, then click All Programs.
2Point to Toshiba Console, then click the resulting Toshi b a
Console selection.
3Select the Password tab.
4Click Registered.
5Type your password in the Enter Password box and click OK.
6Type the password again in the Verify Password box and click
OK.
7Click Exit.
Disabling a user password
To cancel the password that supports the instant and power-on
password functions:
1Click Start, then click All Programs.
2Point to Toshiba Console, then click the resulting Toshi b a
Console selection.
The Toshiba Console window appears.
3Select the Password tab.
4Click Not Registered.
