Disconnecting LAN cable

To disconnect the LAN cable, follow the steps below.

1.Pinch the lever on the connector in the computer’s LAN jack and pull out the connector.

2.Disconnect the cable from the LAN hub in the same manner. Check with your LAN administrator before disconnecting from the hub.

Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) data encryption. Wake-up on LAN does not function on a wireless LAN.

Wireless communication switch

You can enable or disable wireless LAN function, with the on/off switch. No transmissions are sent or received when the switch is off. Slide the switch toward the left to turn it on and toward the right to turn it off.

Set the switch to off in airplanes and hospitals. Check the LED. It will stop glowing when the wireless communication function is off.
