Two (Tandem) CO Line Connection

➤To connect two outside lines (using a /LQH button)
1. Press CO /LQH
...or 3RROHG/LQH
*US and dial a
telephone number.
You hear dial tone.
2. After the party
answers, press &QI
7UQ.
You hear dial tone. The CO Line LED flashes
(conference rate). The new Line LED flashes (in-use
rate).
3. Press another CO
/LQH
...or 3RROHG/LQH
*US and dial a
telephone number.
...or on some systems,
you can press &QI
7UQ and dial a CO
line access code
followed by a
telephone number.
It is not necessary to have both CO /LQH buttons on
your telephone.
4. After the party
answers, press &QI
7UQ.
If you receive a busy
tone or no answer,
return to the original
connection by
pressing the original
/LQH button.
The Line LEDs both flash (in-use rate) and all parties
are conferenced.
