When the power is turned on, the following basic screen is shown on the touch panel. (If controlled by the

department code or an optional key copy counter, a different screen is displayed. )

On the screen, currently set functions, selected functions and the copier status are shown using mes- sages and graphics.

* The brightness of the touch panel can be adjusted with the touch panel contrast adjustment knob on the back side of the control panel.
