DVD-Video finalizing process

The recorder processes recorded data in a DVD-R/RW disc so that it can be played on other compatible devices.

Important

You cannot rewrite data onto a disc after you execute the DVD-Video finalizing process. However, the disabled rewritability of

a DVD-RW disc can be restored by canceling the process of the disc ( page 135). On DVD-R discs, canceling of the DVD-Video finalizing process is not available.

Canceling of the DVD-Video finalizing process is available only on DVD-RW recorded or copied contents on this recorder.

Preparation

Press the DVD button to select the DVD mode.

Load a DVD-R/RW disc you want to execute the finalizing process.
