Using Library data

The recorder has a “Library Management” database which memorizes various properties of recordings made on this recorder, including date, media, title, genre, etc. Using this database, you can search for desired or available discs.

You can utilize Library data as follows.

To search for a DVD-RAM disc that contains a desired title.

To check or change information of title or disc.

To check the remaining space of a DVD-RAM disc.

The Library system does not support DVD-R/RW discs.

Selecting a title on the “LIBRARY MENU Title Summary (All Titles)”, and pressing the ENTER button begins playback of the title if the disc containing the title is loaded.

For proper function of the Library system, use DVD-RAM discs that shows a statement on its package such as “This disc can copy images that permit copying once.” If you use a DVD-RAM disc without such a statement, and then operate it on other device, the library data of the disc may not function properly. • The LIBRARY MENU may not display all characters of a registered name of a disc.
