Playing MP3/WMA files

You can play MP3/WMA files that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on this recorder.

Preparations

Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this recorder. See page 79.

Set “Priority contents” ( page 160) to “Audio”.

Notes

WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played.

The DIGITAL AUDIO OUT BITSTREAM/PCM jack outputs MP3/WMA sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the

current “Audio out select” ( page 158) selection.

You cannot change the playback speed of MP3/WMA playback.

To stop playback

Press STOP.

If you press the PLAY button after pressing the STOP button, playback will start from the the beginning of the track.

To pause playback

Press PAUSE.

To resume, press the PAUSE button again or press the PLAY button.

To skip tracks

During playback, press SKIP repeatedly.

On the “CONTENT MENU Audio List”

1)Press the CONTENT MENU button.

The “CONTENT MENU Audio List” appears.
