DVD Functions

The Parental Control function works in conjunction with

DVDs that have been assigned a rating - which helps

you control the types of DVDs that your family watches.

There are up to 8 rating levels on a disc.

1Press the MENUbutton in the stop mode.

Press the …or†button to select DVD, then press

the OK or √ button.

Press the …or†button to select Parental Setup.

2Press the OKor √ button.

The Use Password menu is displayed.

3Press the OKor √ button again if you want to use

a password.

The Enter Password menu is displayed.

Enter your password by pressing the number

buttons.

The Re-enter Password menu is displayed to

confirm the password.

4Enter your password again.

The Use Password is set to Yes and the Parental

Setupmenu is displayed.

The DVD-VCR is locked ( ).
