Connecting power to the Industrial Switch
Redundant | The Industrial Switch has dual (redundant) power inputs capable of |
power inputs | voltage, while providing over current protection and reverse polarity protection. |
The dual power inputs can be connected simultaneously to live DC power sources. See Figure
8.If one power source fails, the other live source acts as a backup, and automatically supplies the Industrial Switch with power.

IMPORTANT
•Power is supplied through an external 12-48 VDC power source. Check the Technical Specification section for details about the DC power input voltage.
•The Industrial Switch does not include a power switch; therefore, plugging a wired and active
CAUTION
Before connecting the Industrial Switch to a DC power source, ensure the power source is stable.
