Prepare la máquina rompetroncos para su almace- namiento al finalizar la temporada o si la unidad no se utilizará durante 30 días o más.

ADVERTENCIA: No almacene nunca la máquina con combustible en el tanque en un área del edificio donde los vapores puedan alcanzar llama expu- esta o chispas, o donde existan fuentes de ignición, tales como calentadores de agua, calefactores de ambientes, hornos, secadoras de ropa, estufas, motores eléctricos, etc.

1. Limpie la máquina rompetroncos por completo.

NOTA: No recomendamos el uso de lavadoras a presión ni mangueras de jardín para limpiar su unidad. Pueden producir daños a los cojinetes o al motor. El uso de agua acortará la vida útil de la máquina y reducirá su capaci- dad de servicio.

2.Limpie la unidad con un trapo embebido en aceite para evitar la formación de óxido, especialmente en la cuña y la vigueta.

3.Vacíe el depósito de combustible. Drene siempre el combustible dentro de un recipiente aprobado y al aire libre, lejos de cualquier llama expuesta. Asegúrese de que el motor esté frío antes de drenar el combustible. No fume mientras maneja combustible.

4.Encienda el motor y déjelo funcionar hasta que las líneas de combustible y el carburador estén vacíos.

5.Retire la bujía. Sosteniendo un trapo sobre el orificio del cilindro, vierta aproximadamente 1/2 onza (una cucharada, más o menos) de aceite para motor en el cilindro y dé marcha al motor lentamente para distribuir el aceite.

6.Vuelva a colocar la bujía.

7.No almacene gasolina de una temporada a la otra.

8.Reemplace el recipiente de gasolina si comienza a oxidarse. La presencia de óxido o polvo en la gasolina causa problemas.

9.Almacene la unidad en una zona limpia y seca. No la almacene cerca de materiales corrosivos como por ejemplo fertilizantes.

NOTA: Si la almacena en un galpón de depósito mal ventilado o metálico, asegúrese de realizarle un tratamiento anti-oxidante al equipo cubriéndolo con aceite ligero o silicona.
