Virus Warning

This option toggles virus protection on or off for boot sector writes. If this function is enabled, the BIOS will display a warning message on screen and then beep an alarm, if there is an attempt to write data to the boot sector of the IDE hard drive. The choices are:

CPU L1 & L2 Cache

This option toggles the use of CPU L1 and L2 cache. The L1 cache is also called the primary cache or internal cache and is built into the processor. The L2 cache also called as the external cache, is placed between the CPU and the DRAM (dynamic RAM). A memory cache, sometimes called a cache store or RAM cache, is a portion of memory made of high- speed static RAM (SRAM) instead of the slower and cheaper dynamic RAM (DRAM) used for main memory.
