Applying Power to the Base Unit
The
EXI 916/917
phonerequires an AC outlet, without a switch to interrupt
power,and the included AC adapter. To relieve strain on the DC plug when
thephone is placed on a desk or table, wrap the power cord around the
convenientnotch on the bottom.
✻Placethe power cord so that it does not create a trip hazard, or where it could
becomechafed and create a fire or other electrical hazards.
Desk or Tabletop Installation
1. Plugthe AC Adapter cord into the DC
inputjack on the Base Unit. Then,
positionthe cord as shown below.
2. Plugthe AC Adapter cord into the DC
inputjack on the Base Unit.
