expectations,please try these simple steps. If you are still unable to resolve

theproblems, contact Uniden Customer Service at (800) 297-1023, 8:00 a.m.

to5:00 p.m. Central, Monday through Friday.

Problem Suggestion

Chargelight won’t come on when
Handsetis placed in Base Unit. Makesure AC Adapter is plugged into
theBase Unit and wall outlet.
Makesure Handset is properly seated
inBase Unit.
Makesure that the charging contacts
onthe Handset and Base Unit are
clean.
Audiosounds weak and/or scratchy. Makesure that the Base Unit antenna
isfully vertical.
Movethe Handset and/or Base Unit to
differentlocations and try again.
Pressthe chan/delete key to select
anotherchannel.
Can’tmake or receive calls. Checkboth ends of the Base Unit
telephoneline cord.
Makesure the AC Adapter is plugged
intothe Base Unit and wall outlet.
Disconnectthe AC Adapter for a few
minutes,and then reconnect it.
Handsetdoesn’t ring or receive a
page. Nickel-Cadmiumbattery pack may be
weak.Charge the battery on the Base
Unitfor 15–20 hours.
Rotatethe Base Unit antenna to fully
vertical.
TheHandset may be too far away
fromthe Base Unit.
Placethe Base Unit away from noise
sources.
TheDigital Security Code may be
erased.Set the Digital Code.
