on the base for15 to 20 hours without interruption.
Raise the base antenna vertically.
The handset may be too faraway from the base.
Place the base awayfrom noise sources.
The digital security code may be erased. Resetthe digital code.
Makecertain that the ringer on/off switch is in the RING ON position.
Youhear only continuous
static fromhandset. The powerhas been interrupted during a call.
Restorepower to the base. Make sure the phone is not plugged into
an outlet controlledby a wall switch.
Handset does not fully charge. If the phone is desk or tabletop installed, makesure the handset is in
the verticalposition and the contacts are touching.
The answeringsystem does
not work. Makesure the base unit is plugged in.
Makesure the answering system is turned on.
PressRESET af ter an ACline spike.
The answeringsystem does
not answercalls. Set the REC TIME switch to either the one minute or four
minute option.
The memory may be full. Delete some or all of the saved messages.
Messagesare incomplete. The incoming messagesmay be too long. Remind callers to leave a
brief message.
