STORING A MIXED MODE NUMBER
If your phone service is set up forpulse
dialing, you can storea mixed mode
number to easily access
automated services (such as banking)
that require tones within their systems.
1) Removethe handset from the base.
2) Press
store
. The
talk
LED blinks.
Youwill hear:
Forexample: Press 0, then 1.
3) Youwill hear:
Forexample: say “My Bank.”
Then, 2 times,
you will hear:
Toconfirm, repeat the name “My Bank.”
4) Youwill hear:
Enter the number you wantto store in pulse mode on
the keypad.5)Press (tone) on the handset.
6) Enter the number to be dialed in tone
mode (such as an account number).
Forexample:1234.
7) Then press
store
.
8) Youwill hear:
Then, you will hear a confirmation beep.

Whenthe voice prompt says
“Enterthe phone number
youwant to store,” if you do
notmake an entry within 10
seconds,the handset beeps
andthe programming
procedurecancels.
TIP
Ifyou need a pause to
separategroups of numbers
duringdialing, press
pause
.
This4 second
pause
counts
asone digit. Pressing
pause
morethan once increases
thelength of the pause
betweennumbers.
TIP
Whenthe voice prompt says
“Sayyes or no,” if you don’t
sayanything within 6
seconds,you will hear
“louderplease.” If you still
don’trespond, the handset
beepsand the programming
procedurecancels.
NOTE:To automatically select the first available (empty)
memory location, press 0, then 0.
NOTE:To enter a number into memory without a name,
skipvoice entr y and go to step 4.
