STORING A PHONE NUMBER IN MEMORY
With VoiceDial,programming is easy. Just follow the
preprogrammed voiceprompts.
1) Removethe handset from the base.
2) Press
store
.
The
talk
LED blinks and the
monitor LED lights.
Youwill hear:
Forexample: Press 0, then 1.
3) Youwill hear:
Example: say “John Smith.”
Then, 2 times, you will hear:
Toconfirm, repeat the name, “John Smith.”
If you don’t respond within 6 seconds, you will hear
“louder please.” If you still don’t respond, the handset
beeps and the programmingprocedure cancels.
4) Youwill hear:“On the keypad, enter the phone number
then press
store
.”
Use the keypadto enter the number
you wantto store (up to 16 digits).
Forexample: enter 555-5555;
then press
store
.
5) Youwill hear:
Then, you will hear a confirmation beep.

TIP
Whenthe voice prompt says
“Sayyes or no,” if you don’t
sayanything within 6

notmake an entry within 10
seconds,the handset beeps

Ifyou need a pause to
separategroups of numbers
duringdialing, press
pause
.
This4 second
pause
counts
asone digit. Pressing
pause
morethan once increases
thelength of the pause
betweennumbers.
NOTE:To automatically select the first available (empty)
memory location, press 0, then 0.
NOTE:You can skip the VoiceDial and enter a phone
numberin memor y without a name. Enter the number on
thekeypad, then press
store
(goto step 5).
