Troubleshooting

If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps first.

Symptom	Suggestion
	• Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base or the charger (if you have more than one

Can't make or receive calls.	• De-register the handset (see "De-register the Handset" on page 32) and register the handset
	(see “Register the Handset" on page 15).
	• Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
	• Make sure the line is not in use.
	• If an outside call is already established, you can not make another outside call.
	• Charge the batteries in the handset for 15-20 hours by placing the handset on the base or
	charging cradle.
The handset doesn't ring or	• Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
