Using the Radio’s Menus

To use the radio's menus, press MENU. A screen appears containing options you can select to work with the radio's features.

To select an option, rotate PUSH/SELECT to highlight the option you want, then press PUSH/SELECT to select it. In most cases, one or more additional pages of options appear on the display. To return to the previous menu, press MENU. To exit, rotate PUSH/SELECT to select EXIT then press PUSH/SELECT, or hold down MENU for 2 seconds.

DSC CALL - Lets you select and work with DSC Call options. See “Using the DSC Call Menu”.

FOG HORN - Lets you select and work with fog horn options. See “Using the Fog Horn Menu” on Page 30.

WHAM PAGE - Lets you select and work with WHAM page options. See “Using the WHAM Page Menu” on Page 32.

SETUP - Lets you select and work with setup options. See “Using the Setup Menu” on Page 32.

SYSTEM - Lets you select and work with system options. See “Using the System Menu” on Page 39.

EXIT - Exits the menu.

Using the DSC Call Menu

The radio's DSC Call feature lets you transmit and receive DSC Calls based on ITU-R M.493-11. The radio supports the following DSC calls.
