Press the [A](IPO) key to bypass the receiver preamplifier, thereby activating Intercept Point Optimization for improved overload char- acteristics while operating on the HF and 50 MHz bands.

The IPO feature does not function on 144/430 MHz. [B] Key: ATT

Press the [B](ATT) key to engage the receiver front-end attenuator, which will reduce all signals and noise by approximately 10 dB. The ATT feature does not function on 144/430 MHz.

[C] Key: NAR

Press the [C](NAR) key to select the low-deviation mode for HF FM operation on 29 MHz.
