CookTime and Stop Time
Withthe Viking oven,you can choosewhat timesyou need to
startand stop cookingyour food.The Cook Timeand Stop Time
functions allowyou to programyour preferences.
Here’s howit works:
Itis 2:00 PM and youwould like to haveyour dinnerready at 6:00
PM.By programmingyour ovenwith a two-hourcook time anda
6:00PM stop time,your oven willdelay cookinguntil 3:50PM. At
3:50,the oven willbegin preheating. At4:00 PM, the ovenwill
beginits two-hourcook time.
CookTime and StopTime Facts:
Bothovens can beset individuallyfor CookTime and Stop Time
functions.
ToSet Cook Time:
1. SelectUPPEROVEN or LOWER OVEN.
2. Selectan ovenfunction andtemperaturebefore settingCook
Timeand Stop Timefunctions.
3. Press“COOK TIME”and the displaywill flash“0:00” and
“COOKTIME” willbe lit below.
4. Usenumeric keyboardto enterthe amountof time neededfor
cooking.
5. Afterthe timeis entered, thedisplay willshow “COOK TIME”
underthe timerfield. (Tocancel theentry, pressthe “CLEAR”
buttonon the leftside of the controlpanel.)
6.Press “SET” or“ENTER” if thecook time is correct.Cooktime
isset.
NOTE:To cancelcook timeduring its cycle,press “COOKTIME”
andthen press the“CLEAR” buttonon the left sideof the oven
control.Cookingwill continueif the ovenis on.
ToSet Stop Time:
1.Set Cook Time,following thesteps providedin the previous
section.
2.Press “STOP TIME”and “STOPTIME” will be liton the display.
3.Use numeric keyboardto enterthe time youwant to stop for
cooking.
4.After the timeis entered, thedisplay willflash the time.(To
cancelstop time,press the “CLEAR”buttonon the left sideof
thecontrol panel.)
5.Press “SET”or “STOP TIME”if the stop timeis correct. Stop
timeis set and willbegin when theoven is preheated.
NOTE: Display will show Cook Time and Stop Time. If you
have entered a time incorrectly,you will hear a long beep
and the display will not change.
NOTE:To cancelstop timeduring its cycle,press “STOPTIME”
andthen press the“CLEAR” buttonon the leftside of the oven
control.Cookingwill continueif the ovenis on.
WhenStop Time hasbeen reached:
1.Your ovenwill sound threebeeps, and“HOLD” willappear on
thedisplay.
• The ovenwill stay at150º F in hold modefor two hours.
• Aftertwo hours, theoven will soundfour long beepsand
shutoff.
2.Press “OFF” toturn off the ovenmanually.
