Changing the Lamp

The projector’s lamp life is approximately 1500 hours of use. The projector automatically monitors the lamp life. After 1500 hours of use, the projector displays the message:

The Lamp has been in use for over 1500 hours. You should purchase a spare bulb.

When you see this message, please contact your local reseller or service center to change the lamp as soon as possible.

Warning—To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not drop the lamp module or touch the lamp bulb. The bulb may shatter and cause injury if dropped.

Warning—Lamp compartment is hot! Allow the projector to cool down at least 30 minutes.

To change the lamp module

1.Turn off the projector’s power by pressing the power button on the Remote Control or Projector Panel.

2.Disconnect the power cord.

3.Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws from the cover.
