and High is image quality. The Normal Quality images are compressed more than the High Quality images. As such, the Normal Quality images require less image storage space per image, whereas the High Quality images will have a better image quality.
∙Lock/Unlock - Allows you to lock the currently displayed image so that it can not be erased. You can unlock images that are currently locked.
Note: Using the Twain driver User Interface, you may make these same changes with your mouse and keyboard, while the camera is connected to your PC.
Erasing Images from Memory
The Erase button (button 5) allows you to remove an unwanted image from memory. You may erase images from either internal memory or from a CF card that is in the camera. To remove images, the LCD image display must be on.
1.Turn on the camera, turn on the LCD display, then press the Play/Record button and go to the Play mode.
2.To remove images individually, scroll to the picture then press the erase button (button 5). A small dialog box will appear and ask you to confirm the deletion. Press the Forward button (button 11) to acknowledge “Yes”, or the Backward button (button 12) to decline (No). You will then be prompted to delete the next image. When you are done erasing, exit to the LCD preview screen by pressing the Backward button (No).
