Telephone operation

Mute

The mute function enables you to hear the other par ty but

the other party cannot hear you.

During a call, press MUTE/R EMOVE on the handset. The

handset screen shows MUTED for a few seco nds and

MUTE

appears until mute function is turned of f.

Press MUTE/REMOVE ag ain to resume the

conversation. The handset screen temporar ily shows

MICROPHONE ON.

Ringer mute

When the telephone is ringing, press O FF/CLEAR or

MUTE/REMOVE to temp orarily silence the ringer without

disconnecting the call. The nex t call rings normally.

Call waiting

If you subscribe to call waiting servi ce from your telephone company, you

hear an alert tone if there is an incoming c all while you are on another call.

Press /FLASH to put your current call on ho ld and take the new call. Press

/FLASH at any time to switch back and for th between calls.

Find handset

Use this feature to page all system handsets.

Press FIND HANDSET on the tel ephone base. All idle handsets ring and

the screens show ** PAGING **.

To end paging, press /FLASH, , any dialing keys (0-9, #, *), or press

FIND HANDSET on the telep hone base.
