Chain dialing
Use this feature to initiate a dialing sequence from num bers stored in the
directory, call log or redial while you are on a call.
Chain dialing can be useful if you wish to acces s other numbers (such as bank
account numbers or access cod es) from the directory, call log or redial list.
To access a number in the director y while on a call:
Press PLAY/MENU/SELEC T twice to select >DIREC TORY.
Scroll to the desired entry by pressing or .
Press PLAY/MENU/SELECT to di al the displayed number.
To access a number in the call log while on a cal l:
Press PLAY/MENU/SELEC T and then press to highlight >CALL LOG.
Press PLAY/MENU/SELECT to se lect.
Scroll to the desired entry by pressing or .
Press PLAY/MENU/SELECT to di al the displayed number.
To access the last number on the red ial list while on a call:
Press REDIAL/PAUSE to dial. Pres s REDIAL/PAUSE again within two sec onds
to cancel the chain dialing.

You cannot edit a directory entr y while on a call. For more details about th e
directory, see page 18.
You cannot copy a call log entry into th e directory while on a call. For more
details about call log, see p age 24.
If you press REDIAL /PAUSE while on a call, you can only v iew the most
recent call, and you cannot era se the entry. For more details about the
redial memory, see page 15.
Press and hold OFF/CLEAR t o exit redial, directory or call log w hen you are
on a call.
