Telephone settings
Set voicemail
If you subscribe to voicemail servi ce provided by your local telephone
company, this feature enables you to program your voicemail functi on codes
so you can easily access the voicemail feature s. Before completing these
steps, be sure to have your access number and password (provid ed by
your local telephone company) to access your voic email. Contact your local
telephone company for more details about voi cemail.
To program the voicemail function cod es:
Press PLAY/MENU/SELEC T to show the menu when the handset is not in use.
Press or to select >SET VOICEMAIL , then press
PLAY/MENU/SELECT.
Press or to select one of the following options, then
press PLAY/MENU/SELEC T.
ACCESS NUMBER
PASSWORD
PLAY
SKIP
ERASE
Use the dialing keys to enter the corresponding co de for
ACCESS NUMBER, PASSWORD, PLAY, SKIP or ERASE.
Press MUTE/REM OVE to delete a digit.
Press and hold MUTE/ REMOVE to delete the entire entry.
Press PLAY/MENU/SELECT to c onrm.
To program a pause:
Press PLAY/MENU/SELEC T to show the menu when the handset is not in use.
Press or to select >SET VOICEMAI L, then press PLAY/MENU/SELECT.
Press or to select >ACCESS NUM BER, then press PLAY/MENU/SELECT.
The blinking cursor should be at the end of your ac cess number.
Press and hold REDIAL /PAUSE until a p appears.
Press PLAY/MENU/SELECT to c onrm.

A single pause is automaticall y programmed between the acces s number
and the password when you progra m your VOICEMAIL button so that yo ur
voicemail service wi ll recognize your password. Dependin g on your voicemail
service, you may need to progra m an extra pause between the access
number and your password.
