FCC Part 15

This equipment has been tested and found to co mply with the requirements for a Clas s B digital device
under Part 15 of the Federal Communications Com mission (FCC) rules. These requirement s are
intended to provide reasonable protect ion against harmful interference i n a residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses and can radiate rad io frequency energy and, if not inst alled and used in
accordance with the instructi ons, may cause harmful interference t o radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference wil l not occur in a particular instal lation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or tel evision reception, which can be d etermined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encour aged to try to correct the interfe rence by one or more of the
following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Changes or modications to this equip ment not expressly approved by the part y responsible for
compliance could void the user’s author ity to operate the equipment.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rule s. Operation is subject to the followi ng two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this devic e must accept any interference
received, including interferenc e that may cause undesired operation. Pri vacy of communications may
not be ensured when using this telephone.
To ensure safety of users, the FCC has established cri teria for the amount of radio frequency e nergy
that can be safely absorbed by a user or bystand er according to the intended usage of t he product.
This product has been tested and found to co mply with the FCC criteria. The hand set may be safely
held against the ear of the user. The telephone base sh all be installed and used such that pa rts of the
user’s body other than the hands are maintain ed at a distance of approximately 20 cm (8 inc hes)
or more.
