CAKE
My Favorite Banana Bread
Makes 1 Loaf
INGREDIENTS
4 overripe bananas, sliced
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 tablespoons sour cream
2 cups flour, unbleached
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
METHOD
1Following the order listed, place ingredients in bread pan. Insert bread pan into breadmaker; close lid.
2Press the MENU and select CAKE.
3Press COLOR and select DARK.
4Press STOP.
5Total machine time is 1 hour and 50 minutes.
