Remote Control

The Remote Control does not work.

Cause1 You are outside the Remote Control operating range.

Solution	Operate the Remote Control within 6 m (20
	feet) and a 30° angle of the Remote Control
	Sensor.

Cause2 The Remote Control Sensor is exposed to direct sunlight or lighting (inverted fluorescent lamps).

Solution Change the lighting or CinemaStation’s orientation.

Cause3 The batteries are worn out. Solution Replace the batteries with new ones.

Cause4 You did not select the device to operate.

Solution	Press the Input Selection buttons to select
	the device you want to operate.

Remote Control does not work with CinemaStation.

Cause	You did not select the mode to operate
	CinemaStation.
Solution	Press DVD/CD, AMP or TUNER on the
	Remote Control before starting operation.

A peripheral device does not work with the Remote Control.

Cause1 You cannot operate a system component.

Solution	Use the remote control that came with the
	device to operate it.

Cause2 You did not correctly set the manufacturer code.

Solution • Set the manufacturer code once again. See page 84.

•Set a different code from the list of codes for the same manufacturer. See pages 87 and 88.

Cause3 The Remote Control is not compatible with your equipment.

Solution Use the remote control that came with the device to operate it.
