When automatic preset tuning is completed, the front panel display shows the frequency of the last preset station.

You can specify the preset number from which this unit stores FM stations and/or begins tuning toward lower frequencies. For details, see “Automatic preset tuning options” on page 48.

Notes
•Any stored station data existing under a preset station number is cleared when you store a new station under the same preset station number.
•If the number of received stations does not reach 40 (E8), automatic preset tuning automatically stops after searching for all the available stations.
•Only FM stations with sufficient signal strength are stored automatically by automatic preset tuning. If the station you want to store is weak in signal strength, tune into it manually and store it as described in “Manual preset tuning” on page 48.
