DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) tuning

DAB tuning

Use this feature to select the desired DAB services by browsing the DAB service registry list.

Note

Once you have performed the automatic scanning, the registry list of available services is updated automatically as long as this unit is in the DAB tuning mode. To register new ensembles, use the automatic scanning function (see pages 11).

1Press BAND on the front panel (or remote control) repeatedly to select DAB as the reception band.

desired DAB service.

Selected DAB service

If the selected DAB service is listed in the top 10 services most frequently selected, “” appears after the name of the service when you set “Station order” to “Favourite” (see page 13).

If the selected DAB service has the secondary service, “>>” appears in the right of the name of the service.

If the selected DAB service is a secondary service, “<<” appears in the left of the name of the service.

If this unit cannot receive signals of the selected DAB service, “?” appears in the left of the name of the service.

3Press SELECT on the front panel (or remote control) to confirm the selection.

This unit is tuned into the selected DAB service.

Notes

When the selected DAB service has a secondary service, the SECONDARY indicator flashes in the front panel for 5 seconds, and the selected DAB service is a secondary DAB service of a DAB service, the SECONDARY indicator lights up. This unit returns to the corresponding primary service when the secondary service becomes timed out.

“Off air” appears when this unit can not received specified DAB service.

You can change the order of the DAB services listen in the DAB service registry listed by using the “Station order” function (see page 13).
