2. Compression
Operate the electric starter.

3. Ignition
Remove the spark plug and check the electrodes.
Wet
Wipe off with a dry cloth and correct the spark plug gap, or replace the spark plug.

the electric starter. |
Dry 
Have a Yamaha dealer check the ATV.
The engine does not start. Check the battery.
4. Battery
The engine turns over quickly.
Operate the electric starter.
The engine turns over slowly.
The battery is good.
Check the electrolyte level, recharge the battery and check the lead connections.
The engine does not start.
