OSD LANGUAGE
OSD-Language is the language of the menu that you are currently setting. The setting of this language has nothing to do with the playback of a DVD. If you like to keep the english menu, which is factory set, you do not need to change anything.
DISPLAY DIMM
On the models (DVD-268/278) with VFD-Display on the front side you can control the brightness of the display in 4 levels.
