INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

3.1Dispose of the old plug safely.
3.2Ensure the new plug is not cracked or chipped.
3.3Expose 4cm of the coloured wires.
3.4Trim the coloured wires to the correct lengths so that they comfortably reach the correct terminals.
3.5Ensure that the Earth wire has more slack than any of the other wires.
3.6Remove some of the insulation to leave about 1cm of exposed metal core on each wire.
3.7Twist the strands of the wire together.
3.8Loosen the screw heads above each terminal.
3.9Push the metal wire into the hole beneath each screw head or, dependent on plug design, wind the metal wire around the screw.
3.10Ensure that the insulation reaches right up to each terminal as illustrated and there are no loose strands of wire.
3.11Tighten each screw.
3.12Ensure the cable sits correctly under the cable grip and tighten to secure.
3.13Refer to Technical Specification for fuse rating and fit the appropriate fuse into the plug.
3.14Attach the plug cover.
