Configuring Typical IG Settings
Introduction
Note: You need to configure your IG only once, the first time you use it.
After you have installed the IG-4150 Setup Utility (see Chapter 3), you must select a mode for the IG and configure it. To configure the IG, you will use a computer with a Wireless Client installed.
The key aspect of the IG-4150 configuration is selecting a mode in which you want the device to operate.
In this chapter, we explain the typical configuration of the IG-4150 in all modes. Chapter 5 contains information regarding custom security configurations in all modes.
Cable modem is the factory default mode for the IG-4150.
