5-4-8CYLINDER HEAD

Remove carbon fromthe cy1inde.rhead, particularly its combustion chamber, and make clean the cooling fins. Also check the head for distortion.

Note: Replace the cylinderhead gasketwith a new one. Note:DISTINCTION between the GASKET o f EY 15V and EY2OV

The pitch ofthe holes for the boltsfastening cylinder head and the outercircumference dimensions of the gasket for EY 15Vand EY20V are same. However, the inner dimensions are different each other. The gasket for E Y 15Vhas a red mark while thegasket for E Y20V has a green mark.

EY20V. For enabling to discrimate the cylin-

 

der head of EYl5V from that of EY20V,an

 

embossed mark 15 is given to theformer,

while no embossed mark is given to the latter.

 

5-4-10 IGNITION COIL, FLYWHEEL and STARTER PULLEY

1)Temporarily fasten the ignition coil to the crankcase, and install the flywheel to the crankshaft. Starting pulley is fastened together with the flywheel.

Note: Before installing, wipe out oil fromthe crankshaftand the tapered portion ofthe flywheel.

Note: Flywheel tightening torque: 600 - 650 kg-cm
