6.3 Power Saver Mode

If the Power Saver Mode is active, the LCD goes dark.

Auto Low Power / Auto Shut-Off

The key operator can adjust this system, so that the unit will automatically switch into Auto Low Power Mode after a delay of 5 minutes or more after copying. In this mode the tempera- ture of the fixing unit is lowered to conserve energy. After a further delay which can be specified by the key operator, the system goes into Auto Shut-Off mode in which the energy consumption is further lowered.

To switch on the unit when in one of these energy saving modes, press any key except the Start key.

Power Saver Key

There is a certain warm-up time, if the system is activated again from this mode.

To deactivate the mode, press the Power key again on the left side of the panel.
